 The band
“All that is dead shall be reborn”. Like a phoenix rising up from the ashes is ‘Last Call’. A four-piece country western cover band comprised of the very talented members of the former bands, ‘Roadhouse’ and ‘The Knaggs’.

As is usually the case, I stumbled across this really great band while going to see the performance of a different band. I arrived just in time to catch the start of their set. The music didn’t immediately grab my attention, as I was muscling my way through the crowd, but once I was settled into my ‘spot’, I was able to give my undivided attention to the music.

Aepril Schaile and the Judgement
 Album Cover
“The muse was able to speak to me only after I lay dying, only after the Gods had taken the flesh off my bones and broken my heart open, only after I was contained in exile in my little shack on the far outskirts of town. For it was only after I'd wept and raged all the battle and curses out of my being, when I'd given up my will to live and welcomed death as a great relief, when I was quiet enough, empty enough . . . it was then that I was able to see the Invisibles that gathered by my side, it was then that I heard the voices, keening and singing and imploring, that had haunted me all along.” – Aepril Schaile.

As I got ready to go out Saturday, I was prepared for another hum drum show at the Pub. Let's face it, sometimes the scene does get stale and a little overdone. The only inkling of excitement came from the fact that I was going to be videotaping some of the performances for a new feature on MME. (Unfortunately the camera worked fine, but the tape malfunctioned and I could only retreive a portion of the show.) So I grabbed my trusty cameras and off I went.

We've added a new Directory database system to the site, which allows you to add and manage your own entries. Any registered user can add an entry. I've started it off with several categories as a base to work from, with each entry having all the basic info of contact, name, address, etc.. If you find you need another category or would like to add some new field for additional data, please let me know and I'll see about adding it to the system.
I'm not sure whether to bring over the old Directory contents or not - I'm thinking we should just allow new entries and leave the old ones behind as much of the data is out of date. What do you think?
